Setting the right schedule for your data exports ensures you always have up-to-date information in your Google Sheets. This guide explains the different scheduling options and how to configure them.
When creating or editing an export, you can choose from several schedule types:
Schedule Type | Description | Best For |
---|---|---|
One Time Only | Runs once at a specified date and time | Historical data snapshots or one-off reports |
Hourly | Runs every hour starting from a specified date | Real-time data monitoring or high-frequency updates |
Daily | Runs once per day at a specified time | Daily performance reports or regular updates |
Weekly | Runs on selected days of the week at a specified time | Weekly reports or less frequent data updates |
Monthly | Runs once per month at a specified time | Monthly performance summaries or trend analysis |
Never | Only runs when manually triggered | Ad-hoc reporting or custom update schedules |
